Dear Second
Grade Families,
My name is Ms. Marilyn Taylor, and I am looking very forward to a
wonderful2009-2010 school year as the new Second
Grade Teacher
at St.
John the Baptist School!
I grew up in San
Francisco,
attending 12 years of Catholic school. After
obtaining my California Teaching Credential
at Chico State
University, I
returned to San Francisco to enter the Master's Degree Program at San
Francisco State
University, specializing
in Education. I then followed the
sun to the East Bay, and have taught Preschool through 7th Grade, with five
joyful years spent
in 2nd Grade. I love to learn, I love to teach, and I aspire
to instill a love of learning in my students.
Second
Grade is a year in which our students
will demonstratetremendous
academic,
emotional, physical and spiritual growth. They will learn to be
responsible
for their work, their behavior, and their Christ-like attitude
and treatment
of others,
while appreciating
the awesome
orderliness
of God's
amazing world.
I happily anticipate
greeting my new class
on the first day of school,
and spending
a year of love and learning together!
Wishing you a safe and blessed
summer,
Ms. Taylor
